Anita Chinecherem Oguejiofor is an Associate at Aelfread Legal Practitioners & Consultants, where she supports the firm’s litigation and advisory practice with diligence, precision, and strong research capability. She is a detail-oriented legal practitioner with practical experience across civil litigation, commercial documentation, property-related matters, and regulatory compliance. In her role, Anita assists in representing clients before the High Courts, Magistrate Courts, and administrative tribunals under partner supervision. She is actively involved in the preparation of court processes, including originating processes, pleadings, motions, affidavits, written addresses, and counter- affidavits, ensuring strict compliance with Nigerian procedural and evidentiary rules.
Anita is skilled in legal research and case analysis, with hands-on proficiency in LawPavilion, LexisNexis, and Legalpedia, which she deploys in supporting legal opinions, advisory briefs, and dispute-resolution strategies. She also contributes to the drafting, review, and vetting of commercial agreements, tenancy agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and service contracts in line with Nigerian corporate and commercial law standards. She demonstrates a strong sense of professionalism in client interaction, case- file management, and confidentiality, with particular attention to data protection and compliance requirements. Her work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy make her a reliable support to senior counsel and a valuable member of the firm’s legal team. Anita was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2025, having obtained her LL.B (Second Class Upper Division) from Madonna University, Okija.
